The Valkyrie Lance is a strong weapon with extended reach. Once the boss has been killed, the table it was on should fade away to reveal a hidden room with a locked chest in it. If you are killed, the boss will not regenerate any health and will be dormant again when you return (conveniently allowing you to recover your dropped items). You also earn the achievement "Like a Bossary" for killing a Slider for the first time.Īlthough the exact health total of the Slider is not known, using approximately 3.5 full holystone pickaxes will destroy it. ![]() The slider drops 7-9 carved stone and a Bronze key when killed. When damaged enough, the Slider will begin to move faster, and its eyes will turn red. This will only happen when the Slider is at ground level, which you can get by ascending a ladder to cause it to elevate, then going to the ground and remaining there until the end of the battle. You can also go in a round form in the square(You step a block earlier than the slider). An easy way to kill it is to make it move to one side of the table, nearly going past it, and then moving back around the table, it will then get stuck, trying to get to you but not able to because of the table. It can only be harmed by non-sword tools (pickaxe, shovel.). The Slider is found in a room in the bronze dungeon atop a large 4x4 table, and is inactive until you hit it with a pickaxe, after which it will wake up and start trying to kill you. It can only move in straight directions, making it easily killed using the main table. The boss of the Bronze dungeon is a large guardian stone called a Slider, which instead of blowing up, damages you when you are touched by it. Mimics are fake chests that spawn in dungeons that will attack the player when right-clicked. Killing sentries yield carved stone and sentry stone. Even if there is a design of a sentry stone, does not mean there is one there. These spawn randomly in the dungeon's empty rooms, and do not damage the dungeon floor or walls. It is a stone guardian the size of a slime, which explodes in the manner of a creeper, but does less damage. The first is called a sentry stone or guardian stone. Once defeated, the Slider gives you a Bronze Key which is used to open the, now revealed, chest under the Slider's platform. The bronze dungeon houses two hostile mobs. It is also advised that you bring a Golden Feather or Gravitite Armor, because when the Slider comes in contact with you, you will also be knocked upwards. A good strategy is to always stay diagonal from the Slider, because it can only move in the four cardinal directions, as well as up and down. The Slider will attack you by sliding towards you, thus knocking you back and dealing damage. ![]() It is also advised that your pickaxe(s) have an Efficiency enchantment or that you have a Strength potion, as those both will deal more damage to the Slider. It is advised that you bring several Zanite or Iron Pickaxes, because the Slider will take a toll on the durability, and Diamond or Gravitite Pickaxes are more valuable. The Slider is first activated when hit using any pickaxe. The boss will drop a decent amount of Carved Stone and give you a Bronze Key. While these blocks cannot be mined inside the dungeon (as any dungeon), killing a Sentry will drop either a Sentry Stone, or Carved Stone. Inside, the dungeon is identified by a large square room of non-mineable Carved Stone and an occasional Sentry Stone. The boss of the bronze dungeon is a Slider. The dungeon entrance can be seen on the side of an island, or a lower section of the surface. In new generated Aether land, the dungeon consists of a mineable Carved Stone hallway that leads to various chest rooms (some chests are Mimics.) The boss is located past these rooms and hallways. In old generated Aether land, the dungeon consists of an empty hallway made of Mossy Holystone and normal Holystone that will lead you to the bronze dungeon. Bronze dungeons are randomly generated inside aether islands.
